About Apollo Image Enhancement

Founded in October of 1978, Apollo Hair Care Center opened its doors in SW Houston located right next to the Arena Towers on the SW Freeway. Apollo of Houston was one of the (if not the original) first Apollo hair replacement centers in the world. The Houston Apollo, however, was not a franchise of the now worldwide Apollo International Hair Replacement Company. During the first tenure of ownership, Apollo assisted in the inventing of the Scalp – Lok process as well as the patented Derma-Vac hair restoration system.

In 1996, Apollo was sold to the Ventimiglia family who has been synonymous with the hair replacement industry for 30 years at the time. It was at this time that Apollo Hair Care Center made the legal restructuring to become Apollo Image Enhancement Center. 3 years later, Lenny Ventimiglia III took the helm of the company and still presides as the president of the organization today. Over the past 40 years, Apollo has been on the cutting edge of all forms of hair restoration procedures and providing confidence to men in their appearance.
